Every year, over 90,000 retailers and wholesalers come to Basel from all over the world to visit Baselworld, the leading event for the watch and jewelry industry. Baselworld will be opening its doors between April 12 and 19, 2007, and according to the number of registrations received so far, the highlight of the luxury goods industry is already set for success.
Baselworld is a unique opportunity to witness some 2,100 exhibitors from over 45 countries showcase their latest products. Specialists in watches, jewelry, precious gems and related brands are all set to exhibit their latest products and collections over an exhibition area of 160,000m2, divided to six different section halls.
Baselworld welcomes visitors to browse through a wide variety of products, and offers the best opportunity to see the latest creations in the industry, made by many world-famous names. The show's management can already confirm that all the eminent watch and jewelry brands will be present this year.

A new attraction this year will be the 'Baselworld village', that will offer visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to further expand their network activities. The 'Baselworld village' is located in the centre of the city, just 10 minutes from the showground, and comprises two restaurants, two bars and several lounges, designed to enable visitors to expand their business contacts on an international scale beyond the show itself. The 'Baselworld village' will be open every evening until late at night.
