The completed virtual model is sent for printing. A three-dimensional resin/wax model of the jewelry is generated in a 3D printer. The model is printed in layers of wax to a high resolution; the implementation of the physical design has begun.

The design team inspects the printed model carefully to ensure that it accurately reflects the original design. This is a pivotal point for quality control since this is the first instance in the manufacturing process that the idea is manifested into a physical creation. If the wax replica is not an exact match, the team returns to the drawing board to create a usable design.

Creating the Virtual Model

Casting the Model
The wax model is attached to a casting tree, where molds for each of the jewelry pieces are created. Each section of the jewelry is created separately so that every piece can be properly prepared for assembly. Read More »

Assembling the Jewelry
This process must be done very carefully and accurately as even the slightest miscalculation can result in a disproportionate piece of jewelry. Each section of jewelry is soldered together and finalized for a perfect piece of jewelry. Read More »

Setting the Stones
Very carefully, the correct sized holes are drilled into the jewelry and the settings are created. Only after all diamonds, other than the center are set, do the jewelers begin working on the center stone. Read More »
